¡Hola a todos! Hoy quiero compartirles una nueva aventura en mis recorridos por el Medio Oriente. En esta ocasión, me adentré más en la ciudad y me encontré con un parque familiar. Y destaco que es un parque familiar porque, algo curioso e interesante de este país es que existen espacios pensados para todos, pero siempre separando ambos géneros. Cuando decides visitar un lugar aquí, es importante investigar de antemano el tipo de espacio que es, ya que los solteros no pueden acceder a sitios exclusivos para familias, y las mujeres no tienen permitido entrar a áreas solo para hombres. Incluso, cuando se va a alquilar un apartamento, es necesario saber si el condominio es para familias o solteros, para hombres o mujeres. Lo mismo ocurre en los hoteles: no se permite que hombres y mujeres se hospeden juntos a menos que puedan probar que están casados, ya que todo se rige por la Sharía (ley islámica), que busca evitar la fornicación. Pero dejemos eso a un lado y volvamos a mi historia de hoy.
Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you a new adventure in my travels through the Middle East. This time, I went deeper into the city and came across a family park. And I emphasize that it is a family park because, something curious and interesting about this country is that there are spaces designed for everyone, but always separating both genders. When you decide to visit a place here, it is important to investigate beforehand the type of space it is, since singles cannot access exclusive sites for families, and women are not allowed to enter areas for men only. Even when you are going to rent an apartment, it is necessary to know if the condominium is for families or singles, for men or women. The same occurs in hotels: men and women are not allowed to stay together unless they can prove that they are married, since everything is governed by Sharia (Islamic law), which seeks to prevent fornication. But let's leave that aside and return to my story today.
Este jardín familiar tiene, además de hermosas palmeras y jarrones ademas de cómodos asientos, pude encontrar un lugar especial dedicado solo a las aves. ¡Y eso es lo que quiero contarles! Había muchísimas especies coloridas; ver cómo las aves se acercaban a comer de tu mano si les ofrecías comida era simplemente increíble, mostraban una confianza genuina. Pero entre todas esas aves, hubo una que se robó toda mi atención. Era un ave sin colores llamativos, tan sencilla como el tono pálido de su plumaje, pero tan carismática y exótica como solo una cacatúa podría ser.
This family garden has, besides beautiful palm trees and vases and comfortable seating, I was able to find a special place dedicated only to birds. And that's what I want to tell you about! There were so many colorful species; seeing how the birds came to eat from your hand if you offered them food was simply incredible, they showed genuine trust. But among all those birds, there was one that stole all my attention. It was a bird without flashy colors, as simple as the pale tone of its plumage, but as charismatic and exotic as only a cockatoo could be.
Era la atracción de todos. Había una larga fila de personas esperando para interactuar con ella, y algo realmente gracioso era verla caminar por el suelo, abriéndose paso entre los espectadores hasta llegar a una familia, solo para robarles comida. ¡Toda una personalidad aviar!
She was the center of attention. There was a long line of people waiting to interact with her, and it was really funny to see her walking around the ground, making her way through the spectators until she reached a family, only to steal food from them. Quite an avian personality!
Fue una experiencia increíble y divertida, además de fascinante, descubrir cómo humanos y aves pueden convivir en armonía y retroalimentarse mutuamente. En ese pequeño rincón del parque, se podía ver cómo la naturaleza y la vida humana se conectaban de una manera especial.
It was an amazing and fun experience, as well as fascinating, to discover how humans and birds can live together in harmony and provide feedback to each other. In that little corner of the park, you could see how nature and human life were connected in a special way.
