The best approach to make your love last a lifetime is to capture it in a pre-wedding photo shoot.

I recently had the pleasure of taking pictures of a couple who were high school sweethearts and had met in the classes they both attended. We decided to base our pre-wedding photo session on it because it was a great story.

The initial location was by their local high school. We created some acting for them to show their first encounter in the classroom and how they came to fall in love. The couple appeared in their high school attire. We limited our props to bags, notebooks, and pens. As they got into character, the couple's initial restraint began to melt away and their chemistry became apparent. The results of the photoshoot were amazing, and the couple was thrilled with them.

We shot in their backyard for the second location because it had large trees that offered a lovely natural backdrop and it is where they often share their stories after school. We only did a few poses with the couple because we had to go on to our next destination, a sugarcane field, and they were dressed in formal clothing. To capture the stunning landscape in the sugarcane field, we simply took aerial photographs. The couple was extremely appreciative of their friends' support throughout the lengthy but enjoyable day.

The photoshoot went well, and we were able to capture the couple's love story in a lovely and unique way. It was a delight for me as a photographer to capture this significant period in their lives, and I'm pleased that we were able to create something enduring as a result of our collaboration.

I hope you enjoy it!
