Before the start of the classes, we finally got the chance to set up a fun shoot with Rachel Mae, one of our young people members in the church. She's already in college and she's super busy as she is already going for an internship. She is a very shy lady but because of her co-youth who is really supportive and was pushing her to smile and pose, we did the shoot pretty well.
But before we started the shoot, the friends were there to apply makeup on her. She is not used to putting on makeup, she's okay with just bare face but because the friends were really persistent, she even planned on ironing her hair but she declined and I was glad because the curly hair looks good on her.
However, the weather was no cooperating, it rained that morning and it was still gloomy in the afternoon. They finished putting on makeup by around four in the afternoon, well, it really didn't take that long, but one of them had to put hair straightener so that took a lot of time.
I told them we have to get going because there was no sun. Thankfully, she was really eager to learn, and even if she thought she looked awkward, the results turned out well! She looks really great!
The photos were taken with an 85 mm lens and was post-processed with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop as I have to do frequency separation to most of the photos. In fact, it took me a while to finish processing the images but all is well, I was able to make it before this day ended.
That's it! Thanks for reading!
