I recognize that one of my biggest fears is cockroaches. For me, it is one of those phobias that makes your body tremble from head to toe and does not even allow you to move. So when I was told some time ago that there was an exhibition of giant cockroaches by Roberto Fabelo on the facade of the Cuban Art Building of the National Museum of Fine Arts, it was a shock, because how could I not go to see it and then, how to see it? A big dilemma.
As nothing has been written about cowards, I went. Today it is not easier to review these photographs, I tell you, it is an important phobia, but the work is wonderful. Fabelo is a master of the arts. His pieces are etched in the retina and with his very personal style, you never forget them again.
Some time ago in a Post I published , I showed another of the works of this magnificent Cuban artist located in Havana's Plaza Vieja:
and last but not least, me playing brave, but dying inside...😅
