When we were little, most of us probably had to answer that obligatory question: "What do you want to be when you grow up?
I went through wanting to be an astronomer (not an astronaut!), a teacher, a singer (at that time I still didn't know that I could hardly use my voice in the shower).
I also liked archeology, until I learned that it was very likely in that career to stumble upon an insect or two 😅, anyway....
Countless professions that are amazing! But that for different reasons, a huge one being the very small spectrum of work in my country, were diluted in that... innocent childhood memories.
However, I was never one to want to be a princess. I think I see myself more as a female Indiana Jones than as Snow White who eats any fruit from strangers.
Although sometimes I feel jealous of Sleeping Beauty, you know...about being able to stay in bed for a long time ⏱️ 😅.
Anyway, that didn't suit me. Today, more mature I can understand some of the reasons why many girls (and boys) wanted or want to be princesses.
The whole glamorous part of it, the beautiful dresses, the tiaras. A lot of pretty and shiny things!
So that illusion, which I share mostly in my fantasy readings, or in my work I try to capture it in the photos. Maybe a princess full of vitality, or a more quiet one, a nature or book lover, there is a wide range of paths in this dream world.
In any case, we try to make the fantasy come true, at least for a little while.
