White Island in Camiguin Portrait Part 1

Hi Photography Lovers! I will share with you some portrait shots I did at White Island of Camiguin.

Photos were taken using a Nikon D5100 with a 50 mm 1.8G lens.

White Island in Camiguin, Philippines

According to Wikipedia:

White Island is an uninhabited white sandbar located about 1.4 kilometres (0.87 mi) off the northern shore of Mambajao in the volcanic island of Camiguin in the Philippines. The island is generally horseshoe shaped, although the tides constantly resize and reshape its exact form. There are no trees or shelter of any kind, and it is composed solely of white sands.[1]

Who took my photos?

Either it was a friend or my sister. I have set up the settings already as I've done some portrait shots on them which I will share in the next post.

Behind me is Mount Hibok-Hibok with a little splash of water, that was a nice capture.

Oh, well, the splash was more violent here. I uploaded this photo on Facebook and I got several likes.

By the way, this was taken in 2014 so I was quite young.

Properties of all the photos

I checked the details and the property of each photo. I used all the same f-stop, exposure time, ISO speed, and others.

Camera maker: Nikon Corporation
Camera model: Nikon D5100
F-stop: f/2.8
Exposure time: 1/2000 sec
ISO speed: ISO-100
Exposure bias: -4.3 step
Focal length: 50mm
Max aperture: 1.6

No edits, just SOOC shots or Straight Out of the Camera

I decided not to use Adobe Lightroom or Adobe Photoshop to enhance the photos because there is no need. Everything was just perfect. I took all photos with JPGs and RAW copies, I kept both copies. But the JPG files are enough already.

Next, I'll share photos of my friends, sister, and my mom.
