Last Winter Forest Walk

Light Painting in the Snow.

Seasons last winter walks through the forest with snow. It is still relatively cold in Germany and I wish for some more snow. January and February give you usually the best chances for snow near Berlin. It's not uncommon to only get 5 days of snow when it only looks great the first night. So I was super excited last year when we had a lot of snow coming down at once. Most of the Light Painting I have already shared with you. Here is now the last shot from that night.

Both Images are not very complicated from the technical aspect. The exposure time of the first images was 12 seconds and the second image is a 45 second exposure time. So not very long.

All I did here was placing some additional light where I have seen a fit.

Also nicht sehr lange.

Both of the images are more or less just ambient lighting painting tests and did not end up anywhere as a featured image. Yet searching my archives they kind of stuck out and I saw more than just a photo here. I think both are worth sharing with you because of the mood that came out. Both Light Paintings are very different yet have a similar mystic theme to put them together.
