Right on track with the Camera Rotation Light Painting
So Sven took some photos of me last night and I took some of him. That's what you going to see here. Since snow became this rare natural occurrence we rushed out to find some areas in white. Makes it tricky for Light Painting but hey we are super experienced right?
Sven took me to the former train station that now is becoming a little nature reserve in the middle of Berlin. We found a couple of good trees and these tracks to photograph.
Also Sven hat letzte Nacht ein paar Fotos von mir gemacht und ich natürlich auch von Ihm. Das werded Ihr hier sehen. Da Schnee zu diesem seltenen Naturereignis geworden ist, haben wir uns beeilt, einige Spots in weiß zu finden. Macht es schwierig für Light Painting, aber hey, wir sind Profis.
Sven führte mich zu dem ehemaligen Bahnhof, der jetzt mitten in Berlin zu einem kleinen Naturschutzgebiet wird. Wir fanden ein paar gute Bäume und diese Schienen zum Fotografieren.
What happened here?
The images you see are 60 seconds-long single-exposure time photographs. The camera was set to ISO 100 and the Laowa 12mm Zero D F2.8 Lens was set to F8.
Alle Nachtaufnahmen hier sind einzel Aufnahmen 60 Sekunden Belichtungszeit. Die Kamera war auf ISO 100 und das Laowa 12mm Zero D F2.8 Objektiv war auf F8.
Step 1: Simple test shot, plus maybe some colors to play with. 35 seconds
Step 2: Rotation Test and Light Painting
But then I decided that the color is too much and I repeated the process without adding the color. That's what you see as the main image.
Aber dann habe ich entschieden, dass die Farbe zu viel ist, und ich habe den Vorgang wiederholt, ohne die Farbe hinzuzufügen. Das ist, was Ihr als Hauptbild seht.

This was a bit of a freestyle experiment and did not go too well but still worth sharing.

Camera Rotation is what?
As I have shared with you in many of my posts about Camera Rotation. Yes, it is just what the name suggests. The camera is being rotated during the exposure, sometimes in steps sometimes in a continuous motion while doing so I also light up the scene.
Prinzip Kamera Rotation Light Painting?
Wie in einigen meiner Posts beschrieben ist Kamera Rotations Fotografie genau was der Name schon meint. Die Kamera wird einfach während der Belichtung gedreht und dabei wird das Subjekt ausgeleuchtet.
