This post is a part of the trip to the Matsalu national park, in western Estonia, which I did in late November last year. Its the last location I managed to visit there. I had several more points of interest written up but I got short of daylight and didn't manage to visit all of them. Gotta go back there sometime in the future.
Fortunately, it was a beautiful evening and I wanted to catch a sunset. I knew there was a tower that faces in the direction of the sunset on the sea. It was a perfect place to go. I had to hurry to not miss the sunset time.
The tower is situated right next to the water and in some country house yard that is publicly accessible. The name is Tuulingu birdwatch tower. I parked a car a little ways off the country house property and took a short walk. Some beautiful views of the fields in this area.
The tower sits in a naturally gorgeous place, it's stunning.
After climbing up there I took some photos of the surrounding landscapes and wetland fields. It's forbidden to walk right next to the water line to preserve nature. It's hard to find the more perfect place to observe an evening sunset.
Look at this place, gorgeous.
On the other side is the country house and a guest house. I guess you can reserve this place and make some events there.
After the sun was just below the horizon, the clouds got lit up and it was time to take some colorful pictures of the glowing cloud action.
Below is a panorama of two vertical photos.
I am sure I will visit the same place again sometime to catch a sunset, maybe in the summertime the next time.
Its the last day to participate in my monthly weather guessing game here and you might win 10 HIVE. The game is open until the remainder of the 17th of February.
