The old town of Ostrožac in beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina

Hi dear people 🙌 , today we will travel wit photography to beautiful Bosnia and Herzegovina to the old town of Ostrožac

Ostrožac is located near a larger city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cazin. As an old fort and castle, it is a real gem among all other such buildings.

It is located on a hill 🏔️⛰️ above the left bank of the Una river, and due to its dominant position, it is noticeable and unavoidable 👁️. It consists of a medieval fortress and a collection of sculptures located outdoors in the center of the city.

According to historical sources, the oldest part was built in 1286 as the property of the princes of Blagajski Babonić, a Croatian noble family that ruled this place during that period.

The fort was so carefully and wisely constructed 🛕 and this information speaks volumes during the period when it was managed by General Ivan Lenkovic with his 40 soldiers, it took the Ottomans over almost a hundred years to conquer it.💪💪

It was a wonderful experience to see this old town 🏰, if you have the chance, be sure to visit it dear friends. All photos were taken with a Nikon CoolPix L840 camera and processed in Photoshop.
That's all for today, see you tomorrow!
Enjoy September dear friends!
