Hoy os quiero mostrar algunas capturas realizadas a las mantillas de Semana Santa.

En Andalucía aún hay algunas ocasiones en las que la mantilla no puede faltar y estas son las bodas y la Semana Santa.

También se ponen para visitar las iglesias y casas hermandades el Jueves y Viernes Santo pero en todas las procesiones suele haber un sequito de mantillas, siempre acompañando a los titulares.
Una forma muy bonita en la que de madres a hijas y de abuelas a nietas, pasan las peinetas y las mantillas, algunas de mucho valor.

Por regla general hay una serie de pautas a seguir a la hora de vestir de mantilla en la Semana Santa.
-Un vestido negro que no tenga un escote pronu8nciado, largo que cubra la rodilla, tejidos sin brillos ni ostentosos.
-Manga larga o al codo con guantes de color negro.
-Medias de color negro finas, zapatos de tacón y maquillaje discreto y sencillo.

Desde luego para mi son las grandes valientes, ir andando durante 5 o 6 horas en tacones, eso es una autentica penitencia.
Pero hay que decir por otro lado que traen ese arraigo de tradición femenina que gusta a todos cuando las vemos y nos recuerdan que hay que seguir dando valor a lo tradicional y autentico.
