Now in winter everything can be so enchanting when snow and hoarfrost cover trees and the land. Some years ago I was able to take several nice pictures after a very cold frosty night and a lot of hoarfrost was building up on trees and the branches. I met with some photography friends near a lake and we took several pictures of the cold and charming nature around us. I really liked how all the trees looked and tried to do some detail shots as well as landscape pictures of the area around the lake. But I have to admit I still can remember that it was freezing cold but I managed to stay there for several hours since I was so excited about all the photography opportunities.

I hope there will be another hoarfrost soon so I can try to make some new pictures with my new Nikon Z6II. Landscapes should look a bit better on a full frame, but I have to do a little more experiments with my new camera so I can get to know it a little better. Then of course I need some nice days like these.
