Curious colors that accompany us, that we desire, that depending on the context can mean life, poison, strength, death; so many meanings, and often contradictory ones. Life is full of paradoxes. This garden offered me a lot, along with this girl in her youth, where green and red played in a way that was interesting and visually pleasing.
Colores curiosos que nos acompañan, que deseamos, que dependiendo del contexto significan vida, veneno, fuerza, muerte; muchos significados y a veces contrarios. La vida está llena de paradojas. Este jardín me ofreció mucho junto a esta chica en plena juventud, donde el verde y el rojo jugaron de una manera interesante y bastante agradable a la vista.
It’s hard to know what makes a good photograph. It’s something we know and recognize, but often confuse or get distracted from. Maybe my grandmother will see these photos and think, "it’s just a picture." Another photographer might say, "wow, the color combination is so pleasant." You could appreciate the depth of field, the beauty of the model, the excellence of her pose, her expression… so many things. But in the end, it's just a photograph that captures the subjective moment the photographer observed.
Es difícil saber qué compone una buena fotografía. Es algo que conocemos y reconocemos, pero que a menudo confundimos o del que nos distraemos fácilmente. Tal vez mi abuela vea estas fotos y piense, "es solo una foto". Quizás otro fotógrafo las vea y diga, "wow, qué agradable combinación de colores". Puedes valorar la profundidad de campo, la belleza de la modelo, la excelencia de la pose, su expresión… tantas cosas. Pero al final, solo es una fotografía que captura el momento subjetivo que el fotógrafo observó.
