I love Harley's ears in this one.
"Come on Harley, let's play!"
Best friends.
The past two days have been snowing quite a bit here. The roads were horrible yesterday and I almost got stuck just backing out of my driveway to go to the store. I am not a big fan of the snow, but it is very needed and our dogs love playing outside after a snow storm.
It was like a full on blizzard for most of the day yesterday, and it created some pretty high snow drifts. There are spots in the yard where the snow is like an inch deep, but the snow drifts are a few feet deep. Titus loves running and jumping through the snow drifts.
We are supposed to have another large storm come through tomorrow. We had gotten so much snow this winter and it has been great. Some of the ski resorts were reporting over 500 inches of snow and that was before yesterday's storm. We are getting close to 600 inches now and with tomorrow's storm, I am sure it will be closer to 650 inches or more. I really hope that all this snow helps fill up the lakes that have been drying up over the past few years.
I am ready for the weather to start to warm up, but I really think we need a few more good snow storms before that happens. Who knows, I may actually water my front yard this year. I need to reseed it though because I let it all die last year during the drought.
