So glad we are getting snow
As much as I hate driving around in the snow, it is always nice to have some snow here during the winter. We have had a serious drought this past year and I am hoping that we get a lot of snow this winter to help replenish our lakes that have been drying up.
Things always look a lot more peaceful when the snow is covering everything. One thing you don't see in this pictures are the people in their cars driving around pissed off because the road conditions are horrible. It started to snow late last night, but before the snow started, we had freezing rain for a few hours, so the roads all have a nice thick layer of ice underneath the snow.
There are always hundreds of accidents on the freeway during the morning commute. People drive like such morons here. So days like this, I am glad that I don't have anywhere to go to and I can just relax inside with my animals.
It was about 7 in the morning when I was taking these pictures, so I wonder who was out walking around that early. It is cool to get a top down view of the world after a fresh blanket of snow.
My neighborhood looks so much different right now. There is a condo community near my home that looks like it is a Christmas village.
These are funny shots because I am sure someone let their dog out to go to the bathroom and they walked around with it until it went to the bathroom. That is one thing I do not miss at all about living in a condo. When we first moved here to Utah, we lived in a community like that one and I hated taking our dog out to go to the bathroom.
Her name was Rittz and she was such a cool dog. We ended up selling her because after we got Harley, she started getting really aggressive with him any time he wanted to be near us. That is one thing about Bull Terriers is the females can be very bitchy. She was such a cool dog though and everyone wanted to pet her because she was a breed that you don't normally see.
We are supposed to be getting some more snow tonight and into tomorrow. Hopefully all of this snow helps with the drought that we have going on here because we really need the moisture. Hopefully once the roads clear up, I will be able to make it out to the lake or somewhere else that might look cool from the sky and get some more drone shots.
