Chilling alone at the Forget Island - Lightpainting on Hive

Hi everyone,

A month ago, I made a solo session on this spot I really like. It's a very quiet location, just in front of the Ile de Nantes where a lot of people live (including me).

I was time to work with my camera rotation tool for the last time : I decided to sell it and buy another one more suitable for travels. It's really frustrating when you go to a place where rotation would be really efficient but you can't bring your tool with you because it's too big/heavy.

I think about buying a foldable one.

WHAT IS LIGHTPAINTING?

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
