Paint Pots

It does look more like a crater vs a pot wouldn’t you say? A very unique and unusual natural phenomenon to be sure. Located inside Kootenay National Park, British Columbia. These “pots” are part of the mineral spring ecosystem seeping up from the earth, high in iron oxide, and very rich in deep colours. It was such a great experience walking around here honestly. I was lucky enough to be not surrounded by other hikers, so I managed to snap quite a few pics up here which was awesome.
