Around Barrier Lake

In a continuation from yesterday’s post, a few more images from around Barrier Lake. A memorable experience it was, to walk along the lake enjoying the beautiful scenery, whilst making my way to the Prairie view lookout trailhead. Often times the beginning of a hike can be somewhat boring, but here, it seems that the exciting part came first, bonus. The hike itself takes about two hours or so to get to the lookout area. This is one of them hikes where the beginning segment and the summit point are the definite highlights, but the journey through the trees was nothing special. Photos taken inside Kananaskis country, Alberta.
