During my return trip from the Princes Islands, (a group of small islands just outside Istanbul), I was in a bit of a hurry because of a storm. However, in the process, an impressive image appeared over this already stunning city: the #sunset. It was almost a surreal image, on one side is the European side of Istanbul and the sun goes down so beautiful as I have not seen it in a long time and on the exact opposite side, the Asian side of Istanbul it is already storming.

Während meiner Rückfahrt von den Prinzeninseln, (dabei handelt es sich im eine Gruppe kleinerer Inseln direkt vor den Toren Istanbuls), hatte ich es etwas eilig, da ein Sturm aufgezogen ist. Dabei zeigte sich jedoch ein beeindruckendes Bild über dieser eh schon atemberaubenden Stadt: der #Sonnenuntergang. Es war fast ein surreales Bild, auf der einen Seite befindet sich die europäische Seite Istanbuls und die Sonne geht so schön unter wie ich es schon lange nicht mehr gesehen haben und auf der genau gegenüberliegenden Seite, der asiatischen Seite Istanbuls ist es bereits am Stürmen.

Das war der Sturm als er dann über uns war. Zu dem Zeitpunkt war ich aber bereits bei der Wohnung meines besten Freundes.
On the pictures of the sunset you can see the Sultan Ahmed Mosque - Wikipedia . Construction began in 1609 and it was completed as early as 1619. The nice thing about such photos is that you have no influence on them, I have rarely seen such a beautiful sunset, however, the scaffolding somewhat disturbs the optics. So to create the exact same image again is a bit difficult :P
By the way, the last photo shows an unedited version.
Auf den Bildern des Sonnenuntergans sieht man die Sultan Ahmed Moschee. Der Bau begann 1609 und bereits 1619 wurde diese fertiggestellt. Das schöne an solchen Fotos ist, dass man auf diese keinen Einfluss hat, ich habe selten einen so schönen Sonnenuntergang gesehen, jedoch stört das Gerüst etwas die Optik. Das genau selbe Bild erneut zu erzeugen ist also etwas schwierig :P
Das letzte Foto zeigt übrigens eine unbearbeitete Version.
