This time I wanna show you some pictures I took a while ago. At this moment, I had biked through this polder, on the other side of the water that you can see in some pictures. But I only knew of the bird watch place because I saw it on google maps. So I decided to go there, see if I could practice taking some pictures of birds, and maybe see a nice sunset.

All pictures are taken with following camera and lens:

CameraCanon EOS M50
LensCanon EF-S 55-250mm 1:4-5.6 IS STM

This is how the location look like. So I nice weather, I had some coffee and got myself set up. But it took some time to get into the rythm and the first flying shots all failed

But as you can see, there were enough birds, so there was enough to keep practising.

And in the end, I got some nice results

Even this little beauty decided to land for a moment on a piece of wood closeby.

And I got this nice shot from the heron flying close above the water. And of course I needed to take a picture of the swan that was there

But after that, there was a real treat, and something I hoped for, but didn´t dreamed of. A beautiful sunset

With as extra bonus this scene. I did not expect that. I didn´t even know that there were horses in this place. I'm still so glad that I took this picture

So what started with a slow start, ended with a nice afternoon / evening with a great ending. I hope you will enjoy the pictures
