Wild life in a city park

Turin, Mirafiori district, north Italy.

Colonnetti park is a small place inside the city. There are some ponds, where animals live wild.
Squirrel, mouses and many aquatic birds.

Here a Mallard (Germano Reale in italian language):

And here, hidden in branches, a great tit (Cinciallegra in Italian language). As you can seem this specie of bird has black head and neck and yellow chest, with a black row in the middle.
Neither Salomone had clothes more beautiful than them!

Here the pond. It seems to be a very wild place, but two hundreds meters faraway there are buildings, cars, people and the caotic city life I hate:

Here a Moorhen (Gallinella d'acqua in Italian language). Adults has white beak, young exemplar red beak like this:

Here again a Mallard:

A male and a female of Mallard. Female is grey, male has green head:

Evening bath and care of the body:

A relaxing swimming:

In family:

Sunset is coming:

It was strange to find this corner of nature here, near and inside a big city as Turin. Around the park, grey peripheral and anonimous palaces:
