I'm waiting for the ice to melt so I can launch the boat. My friend lives on the lake and sometimes I come to visit him. However, I have already mentioned this more than once, although who remembers it now. There are many pine forests with mushrooms and berries around, but I don't forget about fishing either.
Today I will show you my favorite place on the lake. No, not because this place is good for fishing. On the contrary, there are few fish here. But when I go boating into the open water, I always take my camera with me. And this place is very beautiful.
Lake Nakhimovskoye is located 12 km west of the large settlement. May Day. The length of the lake is 12.1 km, the maximum width is 2 km, the area is 14.2 sq. km.
The shores are high, sandy and swampy only in the northwestern part. Forests are dominated by coniferous, sometimes mixed. The nature of the bottom is dumping, up to a depth of 1.5-2 m sand, then - silt. Aquatic vegetation is poorly developed, mainly in the northern part of the lake. Reeds, horsetails, pondweeds, egg-pods, reeds predominate. Normally, the transparency of water on Lake Nakhimovskoye (in autumn) is about 1.5 m. In summer, there is a strong "bloom" of water.
Lake Nakhimovskoye is deep - the prevailing depths are 6-7 m, the maximum depths are up to 23 m. The flow is weak - it is fed by groundwater and small streams. The Velikaya River flows out into the Gulf of Finland.
On the map, the arrow shows a small cape. A stone ridge extends from it towards the opposite shore. The depth of the ridge gradually increases. Here, next to the ridge at a depth of 1.5-2 meters, perch and roach are well caught. But as a location for a photo, I like the cape itself. Water, stones, ferns and trees. If located near the coast, you can find a lot of beauty.
There are houses on the cape itself and people live there. From this place the houses are not visible, the bank is high and everything is hidden behind the trees. But there are approaches to the water. True, I did not see people here.
That day the sun was setting in clouds. There were no special colors in the sky, but the very shape of the clouds was interesting. Apparently a strong wind was blowing at their height
And after sunset, the whole sky was covered with clouds. Look at the last photo, it's already the beginning of the rain. So it's time to return home.
