Sport climbing may not be of interest to many people, even though this sport has been competed in the Olympics and is followed by a number of countries around the world. Maybe because the equipment and space for practice are limited.
For a photographer. Rock climbing in the wild is actually better and has many angles to take the pictures. However, in a particular championship, there are not many angles that can be taken in photographing this sport. Because the photographer is placed in a certain location. If you have a good lens and camera, you will get good results.
This post is during the National Rock Climbing Championship in Indonesia last month. I photographed several Acehnese athletes competing in this championship.
