Another part of winter shots from the Ore Mountains. This time I visited the Flaje dam area. The day was gray, but the weather forecast suggested there was a chance to clear up before the sunset. To photograph the sunset, I chose the place of the former village of Flaje, by the stream of the same name. The village was displaced and demolished due to the construction of the dam and flooding of the area in the years 1956 - 1960.
Unfortunately, the weather forecast did not come true, but the place that I chose was so attractive that I took a few shots anyway, and I will definitely come back there, because the place has great potential for the next photographs.
Kolejna porcja zimowych ujęć z Rudaw. Tym razem odwiedziłem okolicę zapory wodnej Flaje. Dzień był szary, ale prognoza pogody pokazywała, że jest szansa na przejaśnienia podczas zachodu słońca. Na fotografowanie zachodu wybrałem miejsce po dawnej wsi Flaje, nad potokiem o tej samej nazwie. Wieś została wysiedlona i zburzona w związku z budową tamy i zalaniem okolicy w latach 1956 - 1960. Prognoza pogody niestety się nie sprawdziła, ale które wybrałem okazało się na tyle malownicze, że i tak zrobiłem kilka ujęć, i na pewno jeszcze tam wrócę, ponieważ miejsce ma ogromny potencjał na kolejne kadry.
