On Sunday we got time to do some hiking.
Lets go to the mountain Evie!
And that was the beginning of the hiking from Pok Fu Lam Reservoir. At the beginning, my steps record were around 3000 steps.
It was a sunny day with nice sky, blue with some clouds around.
Near the high way there is a big construction, probably for Hong Kong University extension.
All the hiking trail there some places to take a rest. Nice design for this one.
The lake gives a nice view to the mountain under a some white and light clouds.
Also the see from another point makes a great view.
Some small flowers with vivid colours decorate the trail.
The trees are very special for people who use to build their houses.
This one makes me think how every time we saw a fork shape we though we could use for one of the corners for a house.
And the long and strait shape was good to use as wooden beams.
Those times are far away. My step father and I we use to go to the mountain and sometimes hunting sometimes taking part of trees for the house or for a new room or just to repair parts of house. Nowadays I don't have idea how is those activities over my town. I heart that hunting was now forbidden. It could be the same for the cut of trees.
Some strange shapes of trees always catch my eye.
Is this one a natura joining or artificial? What do you think?
It nice to see the ways of the trail when you are doing part of it.
Arriving to the Peak, the view was amazing.
In some moment we crossed a repairing work for a big building (or house?). The repairing process is an architectural job itself and it's a nice view for eyes as bamboo makes colourful and geometrical shapes.
There are not too much houses in Hong Kong, then this one should be kind of expensive.
Somewhere I saw this seat. The wood is always good to see simple designs.
Those trees with lots of hanging vines recalled me the Tarzan character who use to pass from one to another vine though the jungle.
It cannot be absent the Buda space to say thanks!
