Like the noble planters in the field, work hard not work hardly through rain or shine.
A vast land is not meant to be fruitful without an essential element to succeed such as hard work, for it did not happen in a flash of time.
Every so often, it starts with nourishment and nurturing so it would produce the best outcomes that come with quality, and that it always feels a light in the heart when something has been started with hard work.
Consequently, any work starts with a motivation. When the power to motivate is less, most likely anyone would work hardly, but when the inspiration to motivate is more, working hard equates quality and productivity.
Would you rather work hard or work hardly?
If we want to achieve something bigger, we would rather work hard than working hardly. Perhaps it is a rule of thumb and the big question lies on how we reduce our efforts without compromising outcome and quality.
"Personally, I choose to work hard."
Work hard matters most. Being an educator in my country is not an easy job for it needs more focus and motivation to continue.
I am not only a teacher but at the same time a trainer, mentor, leader, coach, educational researcher, curriculum coordinator, instructional material developer, organizer, facilitator, speaker, author, and many more, yet I am not working hardly like almost doing nothing, instead, I am continually moving forward to the road that is less taken.
Needless to say, because of hard work, I was able to achieve my goals at a young age and at my early years in school, I was promoted at an instant time to a higher position, not to mention that as of the present, I am on my road towards Educational Administration and Supervision.
However, it is not as simple as that and it is not as easy as saying, "work hard" for it did not happen at a blink of an eye. Every so often, it is so simple to say than do. Yet I firmly believe that I was able to make all of these achievements because of hard work coupled with consistency.
Synthesize the task.
When I decided to be consistent, it is as good as saying that I want to break my bigger goals into simple tasks from the hardest to the easiest. I do not begin working on the most easy part but I always start on what is very difficult to me so my mind will be trained to work even harder to unlock all the difficulties that I had encountered as it would become not complex through time. And that, every single day, I am starting to work at the most relevant and difficult task.
Value break times.
When we wanted to work had, it does not really mean that we need to do the task twenty four hours in seven days like the artificial intelligence bot. I always give myself breaks and I usually value my break times.
Based on my personal experience, when I give some time for breaks, it gives me enough strength to do my tasks efficiently and effectively, that would help me finish my task at a lesser time because my mind was more focused. Sleeping and resting are keys. Through valuing break times, I was able to reduce working time, without compromising the quality of my output.
One step at a time.
Even if we are always in a hurry, we must always remember that when we work hard, we should not do all things at an instant, instead, we must work one step at a time. It is a matter of reducing our efforts to a certain task whike paving way to produce quality outcomes through an orderly process.
As systematic as the hard working farmers in a vast field...
Be systematic.
Most importantly, it is very important to be systematic. To be systematic is to create a step-by-step process with a twist of realistic shortcuts to balance the work load. I strongly believe that it is the best way to reduce my efforts without compromising outcome and quality.
As we become systematic day by day, a complex task becomes ordinary, contributing to a fruitful and rewarding outcomes in life. The key is to move out from the comfort zone and be better than we were yesterday as we are getting better at something else.
Perhaps it is all in the mind and it is a matter of how we attract positive things in our lives despite the negative attraction that would sometimes cause us to be unmotivated and demotivated to work.
Make sense…
Working hard is doing more while working hardly is closest to doing nothing at all. It only takes Thus, work hard not work hardly, remember that.
