I have this little boy that I hold dear to my heart. I'm not his mum or anything but I just love him. He is ten. Recently, his mother got him a phone and I got concerned with the screen times this means. Unlike your sister, I don't think his parents have a a law down but they do make sure he does all his assignments and stuff.
I don't know if I'd give my own child a phone at the age 10. I may...but it'll take a lot of convincing. I have seen the harm social media is wrecking on adults talk less of children. Just the other day, i stumbled on the sex tape of my neighbor who's just 14. They thought it fun to upload it. I can't even begin to imagine...SMH.
Omoh. In my own opinion, I don't think I'd be able to. Maybe with the help of my spouse...i guess I'll worry about that in the future.
