Talking about The Beatles is talking about a life of success from the beginning to the end of the band. I'm going to try to make the best post about this group, and put all their successes.

So let's start.

(1957-1962) Liverpool and Hamburg

  • For those who don't know, the group was formed by John Lennon in 1957 and the group is called The Quarrymen. Shortly after, Paul McCartney joined and shortly after, they invited George Harrison. In this way, the group was formed and they changed their name to The Beatles.

  • Between 1960 and 1962 they began to develop their style and musical abilities, which required playing in nightclubs and many hours of rehearsal. But it was manager Brian Epstein who polished their image and helped them get an audition with Parlophone, a record company.

(1963-1965) Beatlemania arrived

  • In 1962 they had a minor hit with the album "Love Me Do" but in reality the song that launched them into the music industry was "Please Please Me" (1963) with songs like "I Saw Her Standing There" and "Twist and Shout" the latter being the one we all know best.

  • "With The Beatles" (1963) became increasingly popular and created Beatlemania, wherever they went they brought collective insanity and songs like "All My Loving", "Please Mr. Postman", "Roll Over Beethoven" which is not originally theirs, and "Money (That's What I Want)"

  • In 1964 they arrived and easily took over the United States. But the most incredible thing is that 73 million people watched The Ed Sullivan Show, making their songs the top 1 list in the United States.

These songs that reached number 1 were:

Can’t Buy Me Love

A Hard Day’s Night

I Feel Fine

I’ll Be Back

Eight Days a Week

1965 The evolution

  • "Beatlemania" ends and Help! is born in (August 1965) in this song you can see depth in the lyrics and in the musical structure. In this album there are songs like "Help!", "Ticket to Ride" and "Yesterday"

  • In 1965 they released an album that was a far cry from what they had done in their early days and moved more towards a style of folk, soul and traditional Indian music. Songs like "Norwegian Wood" and "In My Life" demonstrate these facts.

1966 They leave the stage

  • Vietnam War escalating, this would affect the group especially John Lennon and they released an album "Revolver" with more avant-garde sounds (reverse tapes and echo effects) It is also a year in which they try drugs apart from being a very problematic tour since John Lennon made a comment in an interview in which he said that

"The Beatles were more popular than Jesus"

  • songs like "Eleanor Rigby" and "Yellow Submarine"

1968-1970 Separation

  • By the time the White Album was being recorded, tensions were already high within the band, and Brian Epstein had died and was the one who held the band together. In 1969, they recorded the material that would later become the album Let It Be, one of their most iconic songs.

  • At the end of 1969 they released their last album, which for me is the best of all time. Songs like

In April 1970 John Lennon and Paul McCartney left the group, ending a short but successful career. Shortly afterwards John Lennon was murdered in front of his house

Well, gentlemen, I hope you like this post, so tomorrow there will be more and better ones.
