This one needs to be quick, since we only have 60 seconds. So let's get to it.
For this one, you'll need Ableton or another DAW. Crank those BPM's up to 135. That's right, we are going fast on this one. That's on your top-left corner, if you're struggling. Got it? Great.
Now let's bring in dat phat kick. We'll start with this one that comes with Ableton, because it's named SwanSong drum kit and that sounds just about right. Do you feel that "bum bum bum bum?" Awesome!
Let's get into the bass line, then. The vibe on this one is pretty groovy and it goes something like "dodo-dodo-doohoo-do-do," as you are probably aware. We can replicate this sound using a free plugin called Surge, which is an open-source project. We'll set it for FM Bass 6 and then manually tune to our liking.
We are missing a clap, now. Let's add it. We are not going to use the same kit, and we'll find a different clap this turn.
Sweet. That makes the beat and the bass complete now. Which means we are just missing the melody. For that, we are going to use another free plugin, this time a synthesiser called Pendulate.
Aight. Modulate that to sound like Billie's weird whistle, and we got enough to put this on a loop and maybe dance the night away, but JUST as long as we're somehow drunk enough. Let's see what it sounds like.
Ugh. Erm... don't forget to Reverb, I guess. And I am soooooo sorry!! ^^
