This jam started out as an experiment on my Akai mpk mini III where I was playing around with the Xpand!2 synth plugin. Xpand!2 is pretty fun as you can stack various synths over each other and create an interesting dimensional sound. Once I got the synth stack right I just riffed out a few phrases on the keyboard then started adding in tracks on top. The first layer I added was my Musicman Stingray 5. Then I added in the drums via the dreampop ezx plugin by Toontrack. Next I added in the guitars via my ESP LTD Stephen Carpenter baritone guitar and my trusty Fender Stratocaster Plus. For effects on the guitars I used a mixture of Bias FZ 2 and Guitar Rig 6 to get the various tones. That's all for now thanks for watching :-) #straturday on a sunday
