Hidden Treasure by Traffic: My Perspective

A great tune for nature lovers and psychedelic explorers. Great guitar work and lyrics. Stevie Winwood's vocals are enchanting. From the 5th Traffic album -The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. The entire album is the pinnacle of their career. Traffic is a very underrated band from the sixties right up there with The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, and The Grateful Dead as far as creating their own unique musical sound and aural landscape. Like The Doors, Hendrix and the Dead they really could improvise musically and take you on a trip and then drop you right back where you were. Check out the second link for the delicious long jam. Stevie Winwood was later in Blind Faith formed from the remnants of Cream (Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker ) for one very cool album as well as on the famous Voodoo Chile jam on the Jimi Hendix Experience album Electric Ladyland Album (Jimi's masterwork).
