Hello everyone, I hug you all and congratulate you on the holidays! No, of course I am not in China, it was a joke, although I really like to travel, I really want to visit a country like China, in order to get to know the culture of the country and its traditions, with its history. In the future, I hope I will have this opportunity. Now we will go on a small musical journey to the sounds of Asia.
I hasten to share with you my recent musical work in the Asian Chillhop genre. The track is based on a melody from Lin Hai. When I first heard it I fell in love with it from the first notes, how much there is in this sound of calmness and tranquility, how subtle Pipa sounds, grace and accuracy - this was my main principle of working with this composition. I didn't want to break the softness of the sound and preserve the entire spectrum of Eastern musical culture.
And so about everything in order...
- FLEX:
- KEYZONE:
Have you ever heard of Keyzone Classic? This is a great VST instrument that sounds (when tuned) in the background like something truly classic piano, lively and natural. Plus, this plugin is completely ROYALTY FREE So use it in your tracks, I recommend it!
Also Delay from Valhalla, which I regularly use, with the correct settings for this delay, not even the most pleasant sound will sound cool, the same Vallhala Delay in the settings of Pipa's sample from the original track.
- 808 / REECE BASS
I took from my personal PHONK library which I have been collecting for more than a year. There is nothing special about the bass settings, the only thing I did was cut the bass below 40Hz. Although when I write WITCH HOUSE or DRIFT PHONK I always do sidechain for kick and bass, in that track I did not use this setting, since I did not hear any conflicts on the equalizer. Therefore, so modestly...
Happy holidays and good luck in your endeavors and deeds.
