today we have two similarly vibed european disco tracks from the late 1970s. they both have this synth arpeggio bass riff going, and frankly, i was surprised that the Cerrone one was actually first in the timeline. some total classics here. unfortunately, i don't have the OG cerrone, just a disco band cover record (but it is still a great rendition) . included are the classic original versions(and the Cerrone music video)
Cerrone
"supernature"
1977
classic French disco drummer, probably known best for "rocket in the pocket." i always liked this one the best. i only found the music video a year or two back while looking up the song. it's pretty cool for a 70s music video, kinda mysterious.
legendary Italian record producer, probably more well known than Cerrone. i think he produced "call me" by debbie harry or blondie, donna summer, flashdance etc etc the list goes on. hes basically mr disco. i think they call him "father of disco" actually...i think they use this one ss the theme to one of those late night coast to coast radio show themes, you could know it from there
thanks for checking this out, i hope you like the jams
