This weeks flea market vinyl finds: moog/ 60s beat/disco records, portable turntable

This week, I went to my first flea market of the year and found some goodies!

The highlight was definitely this brand new portable turntable with a case that i got for $25. Not a heavy duty DJ turntable, but it is definitely usable...and way lighter than my other ones. Would be cool to bring to the park or something.

found a bunch of moldy oldies (literally) from one vendor for one to two dollars each, the highlight of course, being these moog records-the big band moog and the close encounters of the third kind of which i didnt have -even though i have probably 3 or 5 different close encounters records, "you gotta catch them all." Happy Moog is a good one and i wasnt gonna pass up a copy of that for 2 bucks even if i already had one😎

These 2 60s "beat" records were pretty good also, as i am always a sucker for cover songs of vintage pop songs... check this amazing Batman theme song cover!

Also grabbed a couple of disco and comedy records, one is a james bond (james blonde lol) parody record that might be fun.

Also this week at a Goodwill, i grabbed a couple 7inches and an old 78 rpm-the 78 is a couple of old raymond scott numbers and i picked up steve miller take the money and run and disco duck because...well, why not?

Should make for an easy new first hour of the radio show this week🖒..well, i wont be playing steve miller probably
