90s and 2000s Electronic Compilation CDs I Just Picked Up: Dub/Glitch/House/Chris&Cosey Remix Album

Here are some Electronic Compilation CD's i also grabbed this past weekend at that porch sale that a pal of mine had (see yesterdays post for some vinyl). all CD's were either a dollar or two, so no complaining here!

These are pretty much electronic in nature, ranging from a Chris & Cosey remix double CD to some 2000s glitch and minimalish house, with a mid 90s Dub compilation thrown in there as well.

Various Artist Compilation
"Clicks and Cuts 3"
2002

Here is a double disc compilation on the label Mille Plateux, out of France. I was unfamiliar with the label and most artists but a few, but once i saw DAT Politics on there i knew i had to grab this one! Most of it had that really fried glitched out beats beats early 2000s sound and was quite excellent to listen to,i must say.

Various Artist Compilation
"Macro Dub Infection Vol. 1"
1996

Someone was probably listening to a lot of Bill Laswell 90s albums and decided a dub CD by non-jamaicans would be a good thingšŸ¤£. actually, this double album was pretty good and features Laswell, Coil, Tortoise-among others. I decided to share the track with the EPMD beat.

Various Artist Compilation
"Background records 050"
2006

The comp was a little more minimal and house-y then i usually prefer(I'm a hip hop gal what can i say?), but it still had some nice grooves and textures...I was unfamiliar with any of the artists and just picked it up on a whim.

Chris & Cosey
"Twist"
1995

Here is a mid 90s remix cd from Throbbing Gristle members, Chris and Cosey. This cd 90s-ifies the early mid 80s C & C jams...for better or worse...a little dated and dance-y sounding for my tastes, but i only listened to it once. for me the standout track is the coil mix, "cowboys in bangkok 1995," that is a crazy abstract sound collage...it definitely sticks out on the cd!

thanks for reading, i hope you liked my post!
