Hi there! That’s a new week and the holidays are coming soon!
Currently I’m asked a lot about my videos sounding a bit better
🤗

So, I’m more of a live performer on stage. I’m more into rock’n’roll vibe with lots of strumming which easily causes lots of noise if the recording techinique is not decent!
Since I started to share my music here, I started to do another style of myself to make the sound clearer. I have been enjoying so much this journey of learning to record better sound and bringing you better experience.
This is a lovely journey with full of joy and appeciation!

Alright, now I’m gonna tag one of my favorite musicians here on Hive @edprivat
Why? 😂
I’ve been watching him doing epic covers of my favorite songs, and today, right now, I literally just saw and watched his video while mine is getting uploaded!

And you know what? I’m posting the same song! Haha 😆
His version is super epic, and I was like: Humm... Should I post mine? Should I not? Then I decided to keep going, cause this actually proves that Otis Redding music is real legend! 😤

Yesterday, I saw a post on Music Community sharing Otis Redding stuff – I got so excited cause he has been my favorite musician the whole time who sang his soul out loud! – along with Sam Cooke, The Temptations,...

Today I spent all day outside trying to shoot a live video outside of playing this song, but all of sudden my micro to record outdoor music did not work.
Then I came back and and used this small microphone which I sticked on my camera, and with a little simple sound card – I was set!

Learning to record little by little has been very exciting to me! And I know later on – like after a year or so, it’s gonna be more glorious!
I’m just happy to make little progress everyday – and when you recognized this in the last videos – It made me so happy! ^^

(Sittin’ on) The Dock of The Bay – It has been my favorite song to play, specially during the lockdown when we were all stuck inside, each word of the lyrics were dancing in my head.

There were days I left everything behind and took a long ride to sit on a dock of bay in Da Nang too, and it made me resonate with this song even more!

As a stage performer – once again I think I love to unconsciously keep the melody a bit upbeat. I always imagine there is a cajon playing along with me haha

Have good day there with the music we share!
Here are the lyrics (and if you love Otis Redding too, let me know!)

Little Beatle ♫

(Sittin' on) The Dock of The Bay

Sittin' in the mornin' sun
I'll be sittin' when the evenin' comes
Watching the ships roll in
Then I watch 'em roll away again, yeah
I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watchin' the tide roll away, ooh
I'm just sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time
I left my home in Georgia
Headed for the Frisco Bay
'Cause I've had nothin' to live for
It look like nothin's gonna come my way
So I'm just gon' sittin' on the dock of the bay
Watchin' the tide roll away, ooh
I'm sittin' on the dock of the bay, wastin' time
Look like nothin's gonna change
Everything, still remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same, yes
Sittin' here restin' my bones
And this loneliness won't leave me alone, listen
Two thousand miles, I roam
Just to make this dock my home
Now I'm just gon' sit, at the dock of the bay
Watchin' the tide roll away, ooh yeah
Sittin' on the dock of the bay
Wastin' time...
