👆 En la localidad al qué hago mención fue donde se llevó a cabo la rueda de prensa referente al festival de rock y metal más grande de Venezuela de los últimos años, el Gillmanfest en su aniversario N°19 y edición N°38, festival qué se organiza desde el año 2005 con agrupaciones venezolanas y con el acompañamiento de bandas internacionales hoy en día anexo a la FUNDACIÓN CORAZÓN ROCKERO (responsables también de los conciertos Kultura Rock en Vivo y Festival de las Flores).

La Rueda de Prensa dió su apertura a las 9:45 am bajo la tutela del comunicador social Ennio Di Marcantonio dando la bienvenida a las bandas venezolanas Bloody Merry, Dirty Trizzy, Anorexia Isan, la leyenda del hard rock con 50 años de trayectoria artística, padren del Rock Nacional, el tamborero, Victor "Kasino" González, a la leyenda del Rock Nacional con 47 años de trayectoria Paul Gillman + la Bienvenida tanto a los medios de comunicación especializados en la cultura del rock y metal como a los medios generlistas, contabilizando así el balance de los conciertos que han organizando como Fundación desde hace 4 años partiendo desde la aprobación del DÍA DEL ROCK NACIONAL un 13 de Junio del año 2021 (Cuyo antecedente deriva del primer festival de rock venezolano en su historia, conocido más como el Festival de las Flores).

Paul Gillman quién también tiene responsabilidades como Presidente de la Fundación Corazón Rockero puntualiza que al haber cumplido 15 años de trayectoria musical, después de haber producido su primer Cd (que sería un recopilatorio) con sus temas clásicos de su época de Arkangel, Gillman y Massakre se inventa un Proto Gillmanfest, un concierto gratuito que organizó en la Plaza Bolívar de Valencia en el año 1992 la cual fue interrumpido de forma temporal por las fuerzas policiales represivas de la época donde cayeron a perdigonazos, a batazo, rolazo al público sin respetar a mujeres y niños, personas sentadas en los parques vendiendo empanadas, al final cuando se retiran las fuerzas represivas regresa Paul, los organizadores, las bandas y el público para seguir con el concierto.

A partir de ese momento queda sembrada en Gillman la idea de organizar un festival de rock gratuito hasta que una década después en el año 2005 logra organizar lo que conocemos como los Gillmanfest cuya primera edición fue con el ex vocalista de Iron Maiden Paul Di´ Anno siendo hasta la fecha el único festival en el mundo con 38 ediciones producidas desde su nacimiento, números de ediciones que festivales como Wacken Open Air, Graspop u otros festivales contemporáneos no han logrado alcanzar.

Otro aspecto que destacó la fundación es sobre el hecho que a sus festivales están asistiendo núcleos familiares que llevan a sus niños a disfrutar de un concierto de rock, una nueva generación que asisten a los eventos y por otro lado reiterando qué quienes nos dedicamos al quehacer de la cultura rockera, ya sea como banda, como prensa musical, presentadores, etc, no ver las mencionadas actividades como un hobbie.

Posteriormente comenzó la ronda de preguntas a las bandas venezolanas, es necesario mencionar que durante la rueda de prensa no pudo estar presente la banda internacional KABRONES!!! de España (banda conformado por ex integrantes de la banda Mago de Oz) por retrazos en el vuelo; durante la rueda de prensa Gillman y su equipo tuvo que partir en plena actividad al Areopuerto a recibir a la banda española, dando continuidad a la ronda de preguntas y respuestas tomando el lugar de Gillman por Jhonny Rivero, uno de los integrantes de su equipo de trabajo de más antiguedad durante su carrera artística.

Para culminar se realizó un cara a cara donde los medios de comunicación lograban sostener una interacción directa con los artistas para mantener una mejor interacción, preguntar de forma más directa diferentes inquietudes, explorar un poco más sobre sus proyectos musicales; Cabe mencionar qué la Fundación Corazón Rockero sigue construyndo una dinámica de una ecena profesional del rock y metal en la República Bolivariana de Venezuela donde se pueda revindicar un mejor trato tanto a bandas musicales, presentadores, personal técnico con un mejor pago, tarima, entre otros aspectos concernientes a las Artes Escénicas y Musicales
