TTT: Afro & Beats

Greetings, music lovers! 🙌🙌
Designed on canva

I had a nice time going deep into my music history to feel some jams I hadn't felt for a while. I so much enjoyed playing some throwbacks today.
As a reminder, I'm a big fan of throwbacks, and listening to them makes me transcend to another planet that has life.

For today's #threetunetuesday, sponsored by @ablaze, I roamed around and came out with some cool danceable tunes.

A good lover of afrobeats will surely get his or her legs moving and heads shaking while listening to or watching these videos below.

Reggae Blues by Harry Song, Olamide, Kcee, Iyanya, and Orezi

This song got everyone dancing when it was released in 2015. The moderately danceable beat coupled with the simple and common Lyrics made it so Interesting.

It's rare to have multiple great artists in a song, and this song had that, and it delivered more than expectations.

I remember a particular night that a DJ in a funeral wake-keep ceremony close to my house in school played this song from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., and the people didn't seize to dance. Crazy!😂.

Although the lyrics of the song are hilarious but they also have a lot of bitter truth. Truth, such as;

"Even your boo gets a boo."
Which means that even your fiance has a fiance that you don't know.
Isn't that the truth? I pity People in relationships.

"Enugu girls like to do"
Which means Enugu girls (a place in the Eastern part of Nigeria) are known for s3xx
And it's true.

Yeba by Kiss Daniel

First of all, pay attention to the beat of the song; it's so smoothly connected and softly danceable. You don't stress dancing to the Yeba's beat. Kudos to the producer.

Till today, whenever someone who knows 'what's up' hears this song, he or she will twist his or her legs or shake their heads to dance along.

The song was released in 2017, and it's one of the songs that brought Kiss Daniel to the limelight.
The song was done in a Fuji way, and the video portrayed life in the 1960s.

Rora by Reekado Banks

This song was released in the year 2020 and captured the minds of many with its calm, danceable beat and the good lyrics of love confession.
Reekado Banks pleads for mercy from a pretty lady well blessed with a heavy endowment and tells her to go to Rora (Easy).
He says if she gives him a chance, he is ready to change her life.

The guitarist did marvellously in this song, as it made it more lovely and wanting to push the singles to love. Lol😂
