Some Bands We're Seeing In 2025

2025 is going to be the year of gigs for me and Aimee. During 2024 there were so many cool bands playing, which both of us would have liked to have gone to see, but we never made it to any of the gigs which was a shame, but also to be expected considering we left buying tickets to the last minute.

This year though, has had a complete turn around.

Starting off in the next two weeks, we have Cradle of Filth.

I've never really listened to them, but I know a couple of songs. Aimee's brother and his partner are going to see them and they decided to buy us a ticket to go along with them. It was a birthday present for Aimee, and my ticket was also an early birthday present.

I think the best way to experience a band is by seeing them live, so I'm really looking forward to this one.

Next up, about two months later is Gloryhammer.

This a band I've listened to some of their stuff, mainly at parties and gatherings like that. I don't know any of their songs, but I know that they're dwarf metal. I like Alestorm, and I think these guys are along the same lines.

These tickets were actually another gift. I think how it worked out was, for Aimee's birthday her brother got me and her tickets for Cradle of Filth, and then for my birthday he got us tickets to see Gloryhammer.

I could be wrong. Actually, now that I think of it, I think we bought ourselves and them tickets to see Gloryhammer for a Christmas present. I'm confused and I'm not sure, but the point is, we're all going and it'll be fun.

Me and Aimee picked up tickets for Limp Bizkit when they went on sale, and we're both excited for this on.

It'll be happening about 2 months after Gloryhammer.

Oasis is something that I'm really looking forward to in August.

I was never really into Oasis, but after seeing Liam Gallagher live, I changed my tune about them and got into them, albeit, fairly late.

My mum is a really big fan, and she still can't believe they're back together, and better yet, she can't believe that me, her, and Aimee are going to see them live.

It'll be an amazing gig, and in a way, getting tickets to see them is kind of like winning the lottery based on how difficult it has been for a lot of people to get a hold of tickets.

We bought a rake of tickets for Offspring when we got pre-sale.

My sister, her partner, my mum, dad, and Aimee's dad, including our own two tickets.

We had to buy them in two batches, because there were just too many for the limit ticket master allowed.

The Offspring was/ is one of my favourite bands, and Americana was the first album I ever owned, or at least one of the first I owned.

It was played basically on repeat when I first listened to it, and has played many more times since, alongside many of their other albums.

Americana, in my opinion though, is a masterpiece.

That's all the bands we're seeing - so far - this year, and in order of appearance. It is going to be amazing, but my wallet is praying that no more big announcements are made any time soon.
