Sharing Some Tunes For - TTT

I was listening to some music earlier, and figured I'd share a few of the song here today, being that today is Tuesday.

I've Become A Clique - NOFX

This is such a funny song, because I know so many people who are exactly like this.

The idea that someone gets older, settles down, has a family, a job and in general, responsibility isn't always enough to stave off some old habits.

I'm honest about drug use, and I don't hide behind this idea that, "Oh, I used to be pretty crazy, but not anymore, now I'm a tea total."

I used to smoke a lot of weed and hash, and dabbled with a few other things over the years, but I stopped it all long before Kaleb was even born. I just kind of fell out of interest in it, and fell out of contact with a bunch of my old friends, mainly during the whole covid thing. After a few months/ years, I'd changed and kind of copped on. But, occasionally - mainly when drinking - I slip back into my old ways; it's like catching a glimpse of another version of yourself.

This song kind of captures that same mindset, and also, alcohol is the biggest gate way drug of all.

Goofy's Concern - Butthole Surfers

This song is so good, and it's one that I had heard years and years ago, and then finally found it again after a long time looking for it.

It's really catchy, and I can't help but bop along to it, kickass song, and the album itself is also great.

Solitary Confinement - The Weirdos

This song is kickass, but there aren't many other songs that I really like by The Weirdos, this one though is great, and in my opinion one of the best songs they wrote - at least as far as I've heard.

This one was my lockdown tune, and it got to the point where I really wanted to do a cover of it, but sadly we got a noise complaint just before lockdown so there was no live music allowed sadly.

I first heard it in the movie Lords of Dogtown and had to look it up after, since then it has always been one of those ones I throw on.
