Hello, it's three tunes day. C'mon, let's have a blast with this.

For the record, #ttt (Three Tunes Tuesday) is an ongoing initiative which is organized by @ablaze for all music lovers. Catch the full gist about that HERE.

We are up for another edition of Three Tunes Tuesday and the theme I used to highlight the three tunes for this week's edition is quite different from any of the themes I've used before. This is going to be an interesting adventure for y'all because writing this was also a wholesome experience.

Do recall that my younger sister who came to visit is wrapping up the third week of her visit this Tuesday. Three weeks sure flies by within the twinkle of an eye. Haha. She will be travelling back tomorrow but today's songs are all from her playlist. Not mine, but hers. She's also a big fan of music. She's even a more fanatic music appreciator than me.

So, I was wondering what to share for this week's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday and I came up with the idea of getting the three tunes from her. I casually asked a quick-fire "What are your three favorite songs" and these are the first three she mentioned.

Check them out;

1. Fade Away by ALAN WALKER.

This is the first song she mentioned and I had three tabs opened on my laptop to dig up the music videos of each song she mentioned. The name Alan Walker sounded foreign to me. I'm sure I don't have any of his songs in my playlist. However, the moment this song started playing, it turned out that this was the same song I'd listened to on so many occasions.

There's a Nigerian comic that focuses on creating skits which he uploads on YouTube and TikTok. He uses this song as a soundtrack to all his videos. For some reason, I thought the entire copyright of the song was his. Lol. Now, I'm wowed to know about the original version of the song.

2. Older by SASHA SLOAN.

This is the second song recommended by her and it's a breathtaking song with a very cool music video concept. I don't know if all the clips used in the music video are real footage of Sasha's childhood. However, the music video is an interesting one while the song itself is a sad one.

Sasha uses this song to share a story that most of us can relate to. It's the story of what she experienced as a kid and how she struggled to make any adult around her understand what she really wanted from them. The *"I used to close my eyes and pray for a whole new family". That was me growing up.

3. Lost Control by ALAN WALKER.

The third song she gave me is Lost Control, another song by Alan Walker. I checked that out and enjoyed it. But I decided to skip that in this post because we already have a song by him. The fourth song she mentioned is what made it to the list. An interesting song by Alec Benjamin.

I couldn't find an official music video for this. So, we will make do with the Lyrics video which he uploaded on his YouTube page. The song is a life lesson that everyone needs to listen to. It's a reminder that you can't and shouldn't attempt to make a deal with toxic folks. Don't think you can change their toxicity by being in a relationship with them. It won't work.

Nice tunes for the day, right?

C'ya on next week's edition of Three Tunes Tuesday.

Thanks For Not Missing Any Full-stop or Comma.
