Al pensar en los “nocturnos” en la musica, se nos viene a la mente grandes compositores como Satie, Faure, y principalmente a Chopin. Algo que me parece curioso es que la mayoría de estos nocturnos no fueron piezas inspiradas por la noche sino porque estas canciones fueron escritas para ser interpretadas en las horas de la noche.
Pero al momento de escuchar estas piezas, siento como si tuviera la necesidad de transportarme a la oscuridad, ya que el ritmo de esta musica es usualmente lento, tranquilo y melancólico. Esta canción que interpreto hoy no es la excepción. No, no es una pieza clásica, tampoco es de un compositor contemporáneo o dedicado al piano. En realidad es de un proyecto de Black metal llamado Këkht Aräkh.
La nostalgia y la soledad hacen que este tema se torne algo “romántico”, y es lo que busca este artista plasmar en sus canciones, saliendo un poco de ese sonido extremo del Black metal tradicional a uno mas introspectivo, o por lo menos es lo que me hace sentir a mi. La canción es algo monótona, sencilla, pero que despierta ese sentimiento de soledad. Es muy fácil de tocar, pero lo importante acá es saberla interpretar.
Es una buena canción para escucharla de noche, así que si desean pueden repetirla en la oscuridad y sentirse acompañados por estas notas dedicadas a la noche.

When we think of "nocturnes" in music, great composers like Satie, Faure, and mainly Chopin come to mind. Something that I find curious is that most of these nocturnes were not pieces inspired by the night but because these songs were written to be performed in the evening hours.
But when I listen to these pieces, I feel as if I have the need to be transported into the darkness, as the rhythm of this music is usually slow, quiet and melancholic. This song I am playing today is no exception. No, it's not a classical piece, nor is it by a contemporary or dedicated piano composer. It is actually from a black metal project called Këkht Aräkh.
Nostalgia and loneliness make this song a bit "romantic", and that's what this artist tries to capture in his songs, leaving a bit of that extreme sound of traditional Black metal to a more introspective one, or at least that's what it makes me feel. The song is a bit monotonous, simple, but it awakens that feeling of loneliness. It's very easy to play, but the important thing here is to know how to interpret it.
It is a good song to listen to at night, so if you want you can repeat it in the dark and feel accompanied by these notes dedicated to the night.
