Saludos a la Comunidad de Music en la Semana N°5 - Segunda Ronda del Hive Music Festival, emocionado de poder compartir mi talento y mi trabajo musical con todos ustedes.
No sabía que el Festival iba a continuar y por éso (más otras situaciones fuera de mi control) no pude presentar mi entrada en la Semana N°4, sin embargo, aquí estoy con toda la energía del mundo para apoyar a ésta iniciativa tan asombrosa.
Voy tocar una de mis piezas favoritas para guitarra solista, se llama Un día de Noviembre de Leo Brouwer, y las razones por las cuales me gusta tanto ésta pieza son múltiples.
Primero porque es una pieza que me recuerda a mi madre, ya que ella nació un 19 de Noviembre (Estamos a pocas horas de su cumpleaños 😍), otra de las razones, es porque estamos precisamente en el mes de Noviembre.
Además, es una pieza sumamente hermosa que adoro tocar cuando estoy con mi guitarra, tiene un aire sonoro tan íntimo, romántico, meláncolico, nostalgico... Realmente es algo difícil de describir para mí, la obra musical me lleva a conectarme conmigo mismo.
Cuando comienza a llover, me preparo un café, saco mi guitarra y con la lluvia de fondo comienzo a tocar ésta maravillosa obra, es un momento tan místico que no puede ser captado por ningún aparato tecnológico.
Y a pesar que toco otras piezas (Con mayor dificultad tecnica y armonías más elaboradas) ninguna de mis otras obras en mi repertorio me llena de tanta calma y paz como ésta obra musical del compositor cubano.
Y éso me hace reflexionar de que a veces las cosas más sencillas son las que realmente hacen de nuestras vidas algo especial.

I didn't know that the Festival was going to continue and because of that (plus other situations out of my control) I couldn't submit my entry in Week N°4, however, here I am with all the energy in the world to support this amazing initiative.
I'm going to play one of my favorite pieces for solo guitar, it's called Un día de Noviembre by Leo Brouwer, and the reasons why I like this piece so much are multiple.
First, because it is a piece that reminds me of my mother, since she was born on November 19th (We are a few hours away from her birthday 😍), another reason is because we are precisely in the month of November.
Besides, it's an extremely beautiful piece that I love to play when I'm with my guitar, it has such an intimate, romantic, melancholic, nostalgic sound.... It is really something difficult to describe for me, the musical piece leads me to connect with myself.
When it starts to rain, I prepare myself a coffee, I take out my guitar and with the rain in the background I start playing this wonderful piece, it is such a mystical moment that cannot be captured by any technological device.
And although I play other pieces (with greater technical difficulty and more elaborate harmonies) none of the other works in my repertoire fills me with as much calm and peace as this musical work of the Cuban composer.
And that makes me reflect that sometimes the simplest things are the ones that really make our lives something special.
