so much great music came out in 1970 that it was easy to be overlooked and underappreciated. after Dave Mason left Traffic he released his debut solo album in July Alone Together.. the album never received the recognition it deserves but was one of my favorites. he had great backing with him Leon Russell on piano, Jim Capaldi on drums, Rita Coolidge backing vocals, just to name a few. to me Alone Together is his best album but he has released a number of others since then and is still active recording and presently touring as Dave Mason's Traffic Jam.
