Me and a friend went for an open mic at Kadence Music in Bangalore recently, and it was such a vibe! The venue was perfect—super cozy with just the right mix of chill lighting and cool people. Everyone there seemed to be in the mood for good music, which made the whole experience even better.
When it was our turn to perform, I hopped on stage and just went for it. The crowd at Kadence was so supportive—lots of clapping, a few cheers, and some good energy that made the nerves fade away quickly. Once we started, it felt like I was right where I was supposed to be. It was supposed to be just guitar and vocal but after we started performing an drummer also joined in and started jamming with us . That made it so much more groovy . We performed a small mashup of old Hindi and tamil songs . Here is a small video of our performance .!!
After our set, we stuck around to soak in the rest of the night. I met some awesome people and got to hear a bunch of other performers, each with their own unique style. The talent there was unreal. I’m definitely planning to hit up more of these, and if you’re ever around Bangalore, you should check out the open mic scene at Kadence Music—good vibes all around!
