Me and couple friends just met up for a small jamming session yesterday . We were improvising on this beautiful Carnatic Piece called " Mahaganapathim " . is a revered classical Carnatic composition dedicated to Lord Ganesha, the Hindu deity of wisdom, prosperity, and the remover of obstacles.
Composed by the legendary 18th-century musician Muthuswami Dikshitar, one of the trinity of Carnatic music, this kriti (song) is set in the raaga Nattai. It is known for its intricate lyrical beauty and melodic complexity.
