Greetings to everyone in the Music community! Today I'm joining today to share with you a new song (performance), this time it's "Better of Alone" which belongs to the band "Alice DeeJay". It was released in 1999, as a single from the album "Who Needs Guitars Anyway". Eurodance was a very popular genre during the 90's and "Better of Alone" quickly became a hit thanks to its energetic and catchy rhythm and the voice of Judith Pronk who brought the song to life. Today it's a classic and even if you're not from the era, you probably know it.
Clearly it's a fairly simple song that doesn't take much to learn, because of its short lyrics and repetition, but I like it. So I hope you like it too. By the way, I always try to put on some clothes and get a look (make-up and hairstyle) that is more in context with the song I perform. That helps the performance. So I tried to get closer to that fashion style of the 90's-2000's: vibrant tones, up-do's and glitter. Finally without further ado, I leave you with the video. El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes una nueva canción (interpretación), en esta oportunidad se trata de "Better of Alone" la cual pertenece al grupo "Alice DeeJay". La misma fue lanzada en el año 1999, como un sencillo del álbum titulado "Who Needs Guitars Anyway". El eurodance fue un género muy popular durante la decada de los 90's por lo cual "Better of Alone" se convirtió rápidamente en un éxito gracias a su ritmo energizante y pegajoso, además de la voz de Judith Pronk quien fue quién le dió vida al tema. Hoy por hoy es un clásico y aunque no seas de la época, es probable que la conozcas.
Claramente es una canción bastante sencilla y que no conlleva demasiado de aprender, por su corta letra y la repetición de las mismas, pero a mí me gusta. Así que espero que a ustedes también les guste. Por cierto, siempre intento ponerme alguna vestimenta y conseguir un aspecto (maquillaje y peinado) que se ponga más en contexto con la canción que interpreto. Que ayude al performance. Así que busque acercarme a ese estilo de moda que se tenía por aquellos en los 90-2000: tonos vibrantes, cabellos recogidos y purpurina.Finalmente sin más nada que decir, los dejo con el vídeo.
