Music: Ólafur Arnalds live from Hafursey, Iceland

Hello, music lovers!

Once more Cercle Music has presented us with a amazing live recording of special music played in a very special place.
This time its a lava field near the famous Katla volcano, one of the biggest (and most dangerous) volcanos in Iceland. And that means something - since Iceland has almost more volcanos than trees.
Btw., on the Reykjanes peninsula they expect a new eruption any minute now, at the same area it happened in 2021 and 2022 already. So who ever wants to watch a volcano eruption, keep you eyes on the news. Its gonna be spectacular!

The place where the music was recorded is in a different part of Iceland, though. The Katla volcano is located in central Iceland, a region even more remote and less populated. Which is a good thing, because if Katla erupts things turn really bad, may be even for all of Europe. May be not quite like in the icelandic TV show "Katla", but bad enough.
And on a lava field that Katla created in one of its previous eruptions, we see our musicians performing. In a interesting mix of accoustic and electronic instruments, something I really like.
In a mind blowing surrounding they play a melodic, relaxing sound for us.

See and hear for yourself:

Enjoy and have a nice weekend,
Your
