Parkrun day today, and it’s a bank holiday weekend. Irelands newest BHW in fact, which came into effect last year.
Saint Bridget is Irelands 2nd patron saint, alongside Saint Patrick, and ‘Biddys day’ has been celebrated in some parts of Ireland for centuries!
I was in Killorglin, county Kerry, leading the Biddys Day parade on my stilts…
And spinning fire 
all to drive away the darkness of winter..
… and mark the year coming full circle into a period of growth and life.
