Government forms of science funding continue to disappear. Many may mourn the loss of public funds for highly interesting research, and thus a high loss of talent for academia. In large part, the problems may be homegrown by the institutions which should not deter future participants from reinventing the academic environment and science. I am proud I've been able to network within this year's FFG Forum, with my entrepreneurial ecosystem sciencevienna.crypto opening up new avenues apart from the government funding shrinkages and alternatives that could be pursued for future generation. The conversation with minister Leonore Gewessler was in particular inspiring for me this evening.
